CHANGE DESCRIPTIONS

MANDATORY CHANGES:

• Antennae: Large, feathery/comb-like, and yellow. Pearl's tend to twitch a lot, constantly alert for nearby vibrations.
  
• Pointed ears: These possess some minor articulation for expression purposes.
  
• Wings: Very large and moth-like, usually folded at her back like a long cloak, though she does have a tendency to twitch and flare them up when startled or angry. Not really flight capable unless she shrinks down in size first, although theoretically she could use them to glide/get extra lift. They're pastel green with eye-spots.
  
• Eyes: Her eyes were already a pastel blue before she got here, so...
  
• Claws: Standard translucent, sharp nails. They look pink because of the carapace around her forearms and fingers.
  
• Size changing power: Standard for any faerie. Shrinking and flying places is now Pearl's preferred method of transportation, in tandem with...
  
• Faerie Rings: See Info Page for locations.
  
• Aversion to Lying: While Pearl has always had a tendency to be blunt and put her foot in her mouth, she's actually surprisingly deceptive. Whether this new aversion will keep her from successfully hiding things from her friends remains to be seen.

ADDITIONAL CHANGES:

• Carapace-like skin: Pink, and present only on some parts of her body. Build up is thickest around her neck, where the carapace is covered with thick amounts of fuzz, forming a sort of "ruff" like many moths have. Carapace is also present on her back, around where her wings attach, and her forearms/hands and calves/feet, giving her limbs a more insect-like appearance and structure. The fuzz covering is less thick in these locations.
  
• Large, Extra Mouth: Much to her chagrin, she has one of these, and it seems to have a mind of its own, to boot. Dubbed "Baby Mouth" by Steven, it extends diagonally (asymmetrically! gasp!) from the bottom left side of Pearl's rib-cage down to where her navel would be, if she had one. Baby mouth has a tendency to pull faces, chatter/gnash its teeth when Pearl is agitated, and will drool on and/or bite just about anything put in front of it, forcing her to wear crop tops if she doesn't want her shirts to get ruined. Sometimes it also makes horrible clicking sounds when it's hungry. Baby Mouth has since become a little better behaved, now that Pearl knows that feeding it a few tiny chunks of human every day will calm it down.

FOG FORM

Pearl has not gained access to this fog form yet, but when she does, the changes will be as follows:

• Extra arms: Gains an extra set below her normal ones, identical in structure.
  
• Mouth: She loses her normal mouth, making her torso mouth the only feasible way of feeding.
  
• Compound eyes: Gains blue compound eyes, which lack eyelids. This and the loss of her regular mouth effectively render her unable to display facial expressions while in fog form.
  
• Modified limbs: Limbs become a little bit longer, and more slender in build.

FEEDING HABITS

Because she is a faerie with an extra mouth, Pearl's feeding habits are a bit tricky. Her requirements are two fold: She has the standard need to feed on human energy by draining it from people trapped in her faerie rings, but she also has the additional need to feed her extra mouth actual solid food, in order to keep it docile.
